Deputy Minister Mduduzi Manana updates Inkandla community on Umfolozi TVET College, 19 Jul

The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Mr Mduduzi Manana, MP, will visit the community of Nkandla to share progress made towards the building of Umfolozi Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College, Nkandla Campus, in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, on Tuesday, 19 July 2016.

This College Campus is one of the twelve College campuses that are being built post the apartheid era as the government’s stance on expanding access to post-school education. 

The Deputy Minister will interact with the community of Nkandla, high school learners and teachers to advise on the developments of a post-school institution built in their door-step. He will then proceed to meet with the college management, project team and contractors on site, to have a detailed report on the progress made thus far.

This visit forms part of an ongoing monitoring exercise by government to ensure that projects are implemented as planned and that all challenges are identified and rectified early to ensure timeous project completion.
