The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Mr Mduduzi Manana, MP, will launch the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) month at Ehlanzeni TVET College Mpumalanga province on the 1st of August 2017.
The month of August is dubbed TVET Month on the calendar of the department. During this month, all the 50 public TVET colleges embark on various activities, including but not limited to, having direct engagements with the youth and especially employers/industry with the aim of profiling TVET colleges and their programme offerings.
This year will no different as there will be a hive of activities commencing with the launch in Mpumalanga province. The Deputy Minister will also host a Business Breakfast targeting employers / industry on the 11 of August and he will participate in other scheduled events organised by both the department and various TVET colleges.
