Deputy Minister Enver Surty to hand over R81 million ASIDI SCHOOL in Du Noon in Cape Town, Western Cape

The Deputy Minister of Basic Education, Mr Enver Surty will tomorrow, Wednesday 17 May 2017 through the Accelerated Schools Infrastructure Development Initiative (ASIDI), hand-over Du Noon Primary School in Du Noon in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Built at a cost of R81 million, the School is one of two state-of-the-art ASIDI Schools in the under-privileged community of Du Noon and form part of the 179 schools completed to date as part of the ASIDI Programme.

In addition to the provision of school infrastructure, the initiative has provided water to 615 schools, sanitation to 425 schools as well as electricity to 307 schools that previously had none.
