Basic Education Deputy Minister to open Second Annual Sasol Technical Teachers Conference
The Deputy Minister of Basic Education Mr. Enver Surty will tomorrow, Thursday 29 June deliver the opening address at the Second Annual Sasol Technical Schools Conference which will take place at the Sasol Recreational Club in Secunda, Mpumalanga.
In partnership with the Sasol Inzalo Foundation (SaIF) and the Vaal University of Technology (VUT), the Department of Basic Education hosted the Inaugural Sasol Technical Teachers’ Conference 2016 in Sasolburg, Free State.
The conference will bring together educational institutions, industry partners, government departments and agencies with the key objectives of building technical educational institutions that are safe, well-resourced and geared towards improving the absorption of skills in technical careers.
