Deputy Minister Ayanda Dlodlo visits Hessequa community to address service delivery challenges, 23 Apr

The Deputy Minister for Public Service and Administration, Ms Ayanda Dlodlo, will return to the community of Hessequa in the Western Cape on Saturday, 23 April 2016 as part of government’s citizen engagement programme.

The Deputy Minister’s public participation programme (Imbizo) is a strategic vehicle that enables government to interact with citizens in a quest to improve service delivery in support of the priorities of government.

The community Imbizo will provide the Deputy Minister, joined by the provincial and local government representatives a valuable opportunity to engage with the local community on service delivery programmes, and to determine their level of satisfaction when interfacing with government.

Deputy Minister Dlodlo will ahead of the community Imbizo embark on an unannounced visit to a service delivery institution to assess the efficiency of the systems and to put in place corrective measures where necessary.
