Deputy Minister Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba takes Imbizo to the community of Khayelitsha in the Western Cape
The Deputy Minister for the Public Service and Administration, Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba will on Friday 12, May 2017, meet the community of Khayelitsha in the Western Cape on an Imbizo to interact with local residents on issues of service delivery when interfacing with government.
The community outreach is part of the ‘Batho Pele - Putting People First’ programme aimed at responding to service delivery challenges experienced by the community of Khayelitsha.
Deputy Minister Letsatsi-Duba is also expected to visit and interact with frontline public servants at service delivery points about the status of service delivery and what should be done to enable them to do their work better, faster and smarter in line with the Batho Pele Principles.
The Imbizo is a strategic vehicle that enables the department to interact with citizens in its quest to improve service provision in support of the priorities of government
