Deputy Minister in the Presidency for Planning Monitoring and Evaluation, Youth Development and Administration, Mr Buti Manamela will address a dinner to raise money for school shoes.
The #1MillionShoolShoes is a non-profit organisation aimed at supporting needy children with school shoes. The organisation conducts various social media campaigns to appeal for donations of school shoes, which are then distributed to deserving beneficiaries around the country.
Deputy Minister Manamela supports the initiative because every child has the right to learn. The lack of adequate school shoes puts an impediment on the ability of children to acquire an education.
