The Deputy Minister of Social Development, Hendrietta Bogopane-Zulu will today, Friday 11 March 2016 present the National Disability Rights Awards is to celebrate persons with disabilities and disability activists who have excelled during 2015.
The award ceremony is part of the Disability Rights Summit taking place under the theme “"Unified in diversity and disability, together advancing people's power" from 10 to 12 March 2016.
The Awards will celebrate persons with disabilities who received national/international awards during 2015; recognise and celebrate institutions in the private and public sector which have gone the extra mile in promoting, protecting and upholding the rights of persons with disabilities. Delegates attending the Disability Rights Summit will attend.
