Deputy Minister Andries Nel will visit a Community Work Programme (CWP) site in Mogalakwena Local Municipality, Mokopane, in Thabaleshoba village.
The visit is in line with Youth Month celebration in commemoration of June 16.
The Deputy Minister will be accompanied by Ms Makhurapetje, the MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs, Limpopo, Province; the Executive Mayor of Waterberg District, Cllr Mogotlane and the Mayor of Mogalakwena Local Municipality Cllr Sebatjane.
The delegation will view projects that are being implemented in the area and thereafter address about 1500 CWP participants who are benefiting from the Programme as well as other members of the community.

The Community Work Programme is a Government initiative designed to provide an employment safety net to eligible participants by offering them a minimum number of regular days of work each month. The programme targets the unemployed Youth, Women and People with Disabilities.
