Water and Sanitation hosts Baswa le Meetse Provincial competition, 28 May

The Department of Water and Sanitation in the Western Cape will on Saturday the 28th of May hold the Baswa Le Meetse (Youth in Water) Provincial competition. The aim of the competition is to increase public awareness about integrated water resource management and water management skills through learners.

This competition is open to Grade 6 learners. Schools will be participating under the following categories:

  • Traditional Music
  • Poetry
  • Drama
  • Poster
  • Praise singing.

Schools from across the province will be showcasing their talents and understanding about water. Each category will have three winners: 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions and position one will represent the province during in the National leg in Johannesburg.
