Constitutional review committee calls for submissions
The Joint Constitutional Review Committee invites members of the public to make written submissions on specific sections of the Constitution they feel need to be reviewed.
In terms of Section 45(1)(c) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, the Committee must review the Constitution annually. Therefore, members of the public are invited to make written submissions about those sections of the Constitution they feel need to be reviewed to the Constitutional Review Committee.
Copies of the Constitution can be obtained from the nearest offices of the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development, the Government Communications and Information System (GCIS) or from a Multipurpose Community Centre in your area.
