Closure of Krugersdrift Dam and Olive Hills recreational and angling areas Soetdoring Nature Reserve

Soetdoring Nature Reserve is one of the 14 state owned resorts/reserves situated 50 km outside Bloemfontein. This reserve/resort boasts of facilities/activities like; camping site, angling and overnight accommodation and game viewing.

The Department of Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs would like to inform all interested parties that angling areas known as Olive Hills and Krugersdrift Dam, located on the shores of the Krugersdrift Dam at Soetdoring Nature Reserve which was mainly used for the camping and angling is still closed due to renovation of the ablutions block with anticipation to reopen in March 2016.

Soetdoring Resort on Bultfontein road is still open for overnight accommodation and angling.
