President Jacob Zuma meets with business and labour leaders at Union Buildings, 9 May

Business and labour to report back to the President

President Jacob Zuma will tomorrow, 9 May 2016, meet with business and labour leaders at the Union Buildings in Pretoria to receive a report from the business-government task team that he established in February to explore ways in which the country could effectively respond to slow economic growth.
 
At his meeting with CEOs and the investor community in Cape Town on 9 February, the President assigned Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan and Telkom chairperson, Mr Jabu Mabuza to lead business and government in seeking solutions. The team is now ready to report back.
 
We wish to invite the media for a photo opportunity at the beginning of the meeting.
