Community of Qumbu rejoices as DBE ASIDI program delivers state of the art Mzwixolo Primary School

Chairperson of the education portfolio committee in the Eastern Cape, Mr Fundile Gade will tomorrow, Friday 12 August 2016, hand-over Mzwixolo Primary School in Qumbu, Eastern Cape as part of the Accelerated Schools Infrastructure Development Initiative (ASIDI).

Built at the cost of R 19 Million, the state-of-the-art Primary School which created no less than 43 local jobs, will officially be handed over as the ASIDI Programme continues to restore the dignity of rural education.

As one of the schools built as part of the R8.2 billion ASIDI programme, Mzwixolo Primary School stands as testament to the goals of the program in restoring the dignity of our people and their faith in a strong and able education system that is eradicating all inappropriate structures and replacing them with state of the art school buildings such as Mzwixolo.
