Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport MEC, Ismail Vadi, together with Deputy Minister of Transport, Ms Sindisiwe Chikunga, will on Thursday, 14 July 2016 announce the resumption of Autopax Bus Services in Mamelodi.
The bus services were suspended as a safety measure following the torching of 19 busses in the area. The Department entered into a contract with Autopax to render continuity of services in some parts of Mamelodi after the PUTCO contract came to an end in 2015.
The MEC will also be joined by Acting CEO of Autopax, Mr Bongani Kupe.
