Auditor-general, Kimi Makwetu will release the key findings of three service delivery audits conducted by his office.
The three reports look into:
- the challenges facing the national and provincial health departments in handling the distribution of essential medicines and medical supplies at public health facilities
- how the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) should handle the water infrastructure programme to eradicate the backlog of households without access to basic water
- how four Gauteng Urban Renewal projects (in Bekkersdal, Alexandra, Evaton and Winterveldt) have been implemented.
