MEC Mpho Motlhabane will officialy handover Toevlug Primary as Department of Basic Education makes strides in delivering state of the art ASIDi schools
The MEC for Public Safety in North West Dr. MN Motlhabane will on Friday 29 July 2016, hand-over Toevlug Primary School in Ventersdorp, North West as part of the Accelerated Schools Infrastructure Development Initiative (ASIDI).
The state-of-the-art Toevlug Primary was built at the cost of R 37 935 073.33 and it has 21 classrooms and 3 Grade R classrooms. The project saw 85 job opportunities created during construction which included 13 women and 75 youth.
As one of the schools built as part of the R8.2 billion ASIDI programme, Toevlug Primary School stands as testament to the goals of the program in restoring the dignity of our people and restore their faith in education by eradicating all the inappropriate structures and replacing them with state of the art school buildings.
