Arts and Culture calls for media accreditation registration for 2016 Day of Reconciliation

Members of the media are invited to apply for accreditation to cover the 2016 Day of Reconciliation scheduled to take place in Gopane, Black Aces Sports Ground, North West Province.

South Africa will commemorate the 2016 Reconciliation Month under the theme, “Bridging the Divide towards a Non-Racist Society”. The theme reminds us that we should strengthen relations with fellow South Africans and those who reside in the country and build a future where we all live together in harmony. The Reconciliation Day which is commemorated annually on 16 December started in 1994 to foster reconciliation and unity amongst South Africans. On this day, South Africans across the country are encouraged to unite as a nation.

To apply for media accreditation, kindly complete online registration form on the link https://www.gcis.gov.za/content/media-registration.Deadline for submission of applications is Wednesday, 23 November 2016 at 16h00.
