All set for North West State of the Province Address – SOPA
It’s all systems go for the delivery of the North West State of the Province Address (SOPA) by North West Premier, Professor Tebogo Job Mokgoro, who will be hosted by the North West Provincial Legislature (NWPL) Speaker, Hon. Sussana Dantjie, during the Official Opening of the NWPL this Friday, 21 February 2020.
Dubbed “The Year of Unity, Socio-Economic Renewal and Nation Building”, the ceremony will be attended by guests and stakeholders including Members of the Provincial Legislature, members of the Provincial House of Traditional Leaders, Religious Leaders, private sector representatives, community members and the media.
In his address, Premier Mokgoro is expected to report on the province’s service delivery programme, and highlight collaborative efforts to improve delivery of basic services, as well as initiatives aimed at boosting the province’s social and economic infrastructure projects.
Members of the media who have applied for accreditation are invited to a Pre-SOPA Press Briefing and for Accreditation.
