The Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform, Mr Gugile Nkwinti, will on Thursday 04 November 2016 address the National Conference on Regulation of Agricultural Landholdings at Birchwood Conference Centre, Boksburg.
The Regulation of Agricultural Landholdings Policy/Bill is one of the policy legislations proposed by the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform (DRDLR) to address matters of land access, tenure reform and land administration in the country in order to improve the national land reform programme and achieve the vision of integrated and inclusive rural areas by 2030.
The conference will discuss amongst others the land ceilings and prohibition of agricultural land ownership by foreign nationals.
