Advanced technologies to be showcased at the South Africa-China Exhibition

Experience the world of drones, robotics, high-tech medicine and much more during the South Africa-China Exhibition taking place at the Sandton International Convention Centre from 13 to15 October.

Chinese and South African high-tech companies will showcase advanced new technologies in the life sciences, new energy, environmental protection, electronic information, communication and automation technologies, as well as equipment manufacturing.

The three-day event will also feature research and development topics that will be discussed during panel discussions and parallel sessions.

The exhibition will create a platform for South African and Chinese science councils and industry players to exchange information on new technological trends and foster collaborative linkages.

The Department of Science and Technology (DST) has enjoyed good relations with China's Ministry of Science and Technology since South Africa signed a Science and Technology Cooperation Agreement with China in March 1999.
