Aarto Bill public hearings get underway
The Portfolio Committee on Transport will tomorrow begin public hearings into the Adjudication of Administrative Road Traffic Offences (AARTO) Bill.
The Chairperson of the Committee, Ms Dikeledi Magadzi, said the Committee has dedicated three days into the public hearing to afford as many stakeholders as possible an opportunity to make an input.
Stakeholders due to make submissions include, among others, the South African Local Government Association (Salga), the Justice Project South Africa and Tasmina.
The programme for the public hearings is attached.
