365 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children
Minister in the Presidency responsible for Women, Honourable Susan Shabangu together with the Eastern Cape Premier Phumulo Masaule and Institutions of Traditional Leadership will host a reactivation of the 365 days of activism as the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children will be coming to an end.
The event will be held at Ndevana sports ground in King William’s Town. The ultimate goal is to reach a stage where people voluntarily and consistently spread messages against violence, abuse and rape in their homes and communities at their own accord and also to mobilise rural communities to take an active part in the year-long campaign.
The reactivation of the #365 Days for No Violence Against Women & Children is to ensure that government and Civil Society extend the 16 days of activism campaign to 365 Days of Activism.
