North West College of Nursing to hold its 2016 graduation ceremony
North West College of Nursing will on Friday, 16 September hold its annual graduation ceremony in Orkney.
A total of four hundred and sixty-nine nurses will be graduating from various nurse-training programmes which were offered by the Provincial Department of Health under the North West College of Nursing.
It is expected that these new nurses whom would be deployed in the province's rural areas, will reduce shortage of nursing staff.
North West College of Nursing comprises of two government nursing colleges based in Mahikeng and Klerksdorp and it is tasked with training and producing nurses for the public health facilities in the province. The college is affiliated to the North West University for quality monitoring of education and training standards.
