Soccer giants entertain vulnerable children before the Tshwane derby

More than 1 000 children from orphanages and children’s homes around Gauteng will have a chance of a lifetime to meet and interact with players of Tshwane soccer giants Supersports United and Mamelodi Sundowns at the Union Buildings in Pretoria tomorrow Saturday, 5 December.

Before they clash in the major Pretoria premiership derby on Saturday evening, the Tshwane soccer giants will join the Minister of Women, Children and Persons with Disabilities, Noluthando Mayende-Sibiya in hosting the Fun Day for vulnerable children. These are children who will not have an opportunity to celebrate Christmas holidays with their families.

The event promotes care for vulnerable children and it is part of the ministry’s programme for 16 Days of Activism Campaign on No Violence Against Women and Children.
