Re-registration of SASSA banked beneficiaries

The
South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is commencing with the
re-registration of all banked beneficiaries.

All
social grant beneficiaries who receive their social grants in a
commercial bank account will receive a letter from SASSA indicating the
date of re-registration.

The following documents are required:

  • 13 digit SA identity document
  • Copy/ies of all the children’s birth certificate/s who receive a Child Support Grant (CSG)
  • Copies of the court order/s for all Foster Child Grant (FCG) recipients.

Learners will be registered after school hours.

Beneficiaries are called upon not to visit SASSA offices/pay points until further notification.

Beneficiaries
75 years and older, sick and frail will be registered at home. Please
arrange for appointment by calling the tollfree number.
