President Jacob Zuma congratulates matric class of 2011

President Jacob Zuma has congratulated all the matriculants who sat for their National Senior Certificates examinations in 2011 and has hailed the 70.2% pass rate as a step in the right direction.

His statement was echoed by the Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga, who commended the class of 2011 for the 2.4% improvement they achieved compared to the class of 2010
