About eCertification

This is an online platform created to receive, verify, process, and deliver certification information to trading partners involved with plants and plant products export. This simply means all phytosanitary certifications for export of plants and plant products is managed online with no hardcopy paper applications.

Important points to take note of:

  1. All applications will be online.
  2. Upon submission; as the client you will receive as automated response with the APP REF No.
  3. The DALRRD inspector will receive the application on the eCertification dashboard to be processed to either approved or rejected.
  4. If the ePhyto is rejected or approved an automated response will be sent to the client.
  5. Client can track and trace the status of the ePhyto from the eCertification dashboard on their registered account.

How much does it cost

Please note that the tariffs will be changing with immediate effect from the beginning of each financial year ( 1April to 31 March).

The applicable tariffs for 2022/23 financial year in terms of Treasury Regulation FA 4.3.2.6 (22/23) 26.10.2021 will be implemented, please enquire at the at any Directorate Inspection services offices.
