Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza will on Friday, 14 August 2009, visit oil producing Sasol industry at Secunda. This marks the first visit of Premier Mabuza to the company since his inauguration.
The main purpose of the visit is to familiarise himself with the operations of the company, its social responsibility including plans around Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) as well as its planned future economic direction. Premier Mabuza will also share the information on the programme of action of government, how he intends working together with the private sector to accelerate service delivery and the creation of job opportunities for the people of Mpumalanga in the next five years.
