Polokwane � Sunday, 27 August will be a special day for Limpopo Premier
Sello Moloto as he celebrates his birthday in Moutse in the Sekhukhune
District. Our Premier was born 42 years ago in the Bakenberg area in the
Waterberg District of Limpopo. He matriculated at Bakenberg High school
(currently known as Lephadimisha Secondary school in Bakenberg) and proceeded
to the then University of the North where he completed his Bachelor�s degree in
Pharmacy. Since then, he had served in different capacities including being
Senator in the National Parliament and recently as MEC for Health and Social
Development in the Limpopo Provincial Government.
This is the second time Premier Moloto has chosen to celebrate his birthday
with senior citizens of the province. The Premier loves the company of older
people and is known to regard them as the conscience of our society. �We must
respect our elderly as they represent longevity, wisdom and all that is humane
in our people� the Premier said.
During the day, Premier Moloto would be expected to make a number of
pronouncements towards the development of Moutse, which has now been
incorporated into Limpopo.
