Residents to make inputs into Premier David Makhura's first State of the Province Address

In the build-up to the State of the Province Address (SoPA), the Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) is inviting the residents of the province to offer their suggestions on what they think Gauteng Premier David Makhura should include in his very first address next Friday.

The pointers for Premier campaign aims to solicit ideas from ordinary residents of Gauteng on service delivery matters they wish Premier Makhura to address in his first SoPA scheduled to take place on 27 June 2014.

According to the Premier's Spokesperson, Nino Zama, the Pointers for Premier Campaign hopes to make the SoPA relevant to ordinary residents and show that they can influence what the head of the province says in this important speech.

"The campaign also aims to further drive home the message that government cares about the needs and advice from Gauteng's ordinary residents," said Ms Zama.

If you have suggestions, please share them with Premier Makhura by sending your Pointers for Premier to Pointers4premier@gauteng.gov.za.

You can also join the Gauteng Provincial Government Facebook page and leave your suggestions for the premier on our wall (www.facebook.com/GPPremierOffice) or follow the Gauteng Provincial Government on Twitter (@GautengProvince) and tweet your views.

All inputs must be submitted by noon on 26 June 2014.
