President Jacob Zuma will on Saturday, 13 July 2013, attend the funeral service of the late former Member of Parliament and Wits University Mathematics Professor Ismael Mohamed in Johannesburg.
Professor Mohamed was a Gauteng community leader, also having been an Anti-President’s Council Committee member and former Vice-President of the United Democratic Front (UDF) in the then Southern Transvaal in the 1980’s. He was tried by the apartheid government as part of the UDF Pietermaritzburg 22 in the 1980’s.
