Tomorrow, Tuesday 8 April, Premier Helen Zille and Western Cape Minister of Social Development Albert Fritz will officially launch the Western Cape Youth Development Strategy, which was approved by the provincial Cabinet in 2013.
The strategy outlines the whole-of-society approach that the Western Cape Government has adopted to provide key development opportunities for young people in the province to enable them to create lives they can value to become productive and responsible citizens.
The launch will take place at the Rocklands Youth Cafe, previously officially opened by Minister Fritz, which represents one type of such a tangible development opportunity to help young people to improve their lives.
