The 10th annual general meeting of the Inter State Defence and Security Committee (ISDSC) Military Health Services Work Group will take place from Tuesday, 1 December to Thursday, 3 December 2009 at Centurion Lake Hotel, Centurion.
During the opening ceremony the Surgeon General of Namibia, Brigadier (Dr) General Sophia Ndeitunga will officially hand over the role of chairperson of the Military Health Services Work Group to the Surgeon General of the South African National Defence Force, Lieutenant General (Dr) Vejay Ramlakan.
The aim of the Annual General Meeting is to discuss military health issues influencing the health profile of defence forces of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.
