The North West House of Traditional Leaders has also joined in pouring well wishes to the ailing former State President, Nelson Mandela. A delegation consisting of three senior executive members of the North West House of Traditional leaders recently visited the Medi-Clinic Heart Hospital in Pretoria where the former State President Nelson Mandela has been hospitalised for a period of over 47 days due to recurring lung infection.
Chairperson of the House, Kgosi Madoda Zibi, said they were there to represent the entire North West community especially the traditional community as they wished the former statesman to regain his good health.
“We are here not only to represent ourselves but we are also here to represent all traditional communities in the North West province. Our people would like to see Tata Mandela in good health as he represents the spirit of hope, peace and most all reconciliation. We would also like to thank Madiba for his immense contribution in the process of liberating this country and continuing to be an example to the all the people of this world”, Kgosi Zibi said.
He was accompanied by his deputy, Kgosi Moshe Mabe and a member of executive committee Kgosi Nyoko Motlhabane when they handed over a “get well” card and bouquet of flowers to the hospital’s Client Officer, Bokang Bohloa to hand it over to members of Mandela Family.
In addition to that, a special wall banner from the North West House of Traditional Leaders was also signed and placed at the hospital’s Celliers Street entrance with the message “Get Well Soon Tata Madiba”.
