The Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation in conjunction with Allenridge Sport and Recreation Council will be hosting an outreach programme whereby the orphans and people in the rural areas will be identified around Allenridge with the idea of giving the children the opportunity to express themselves in sport and be part of our departmental programme and activities and also be given the same opportunities as the rest of the community and not be classified as orphans.
We want to make a difference in their lives. The theme of the event is “My child is your Child”.
The event is scheduled to take place as follows:

- 5-a-side (soccer both males and females)
- Netball
- Volleyball
- Indigenous Games (Khathi, Morabaraba and Dibeke)
- Recreational Games (e.g. Egg race, Sack run and apple game)
