President Jacob Zuma will deliver a keynote address and lay a wreath at the commemoration celebration of the life of the first recognised Griqua Chief Adam Kok 300 years after his birth. He was first a slave and later incarcerated at the Cape Castle of Good Hope.
The celebrations will start at 10:00 with the wreath laying ceremony in the Castle and then proceed to the Good Hope Centre where cultural activities will precede the address by President Zuma to 3 000 Khoisan.
