On Tuesday, 31August 2010, government in partnership with SABC 1 brought you another episode of the reality show called "Rize Mzansi".
The eighth episode of this television series featured information on media and marketing skills in the tourism industry through the Tourism Enterprise Partnership (TEP).
Government offers economic opportunities available through TEP to small and micro enterprises hoping to get started in the tourism sector. TEP also makes grants available, which can help with start-up costs and marketing, provide ongoing training and assistance to help historically disadvantaged entrepreneurs.
The grants are there for SMMEs that are owned by historically disadvantaged entrepreneurs to get technical assistance on a cost sharing basis, through its Training and Technical Assistance Fund (TTAF).
