President Thabo Mbeki will attend the third meeting of the Presidential
Youth Working Group on Tuesday, 2 May 2006, 14h00-16h00, at the Union
Buildings.
The meeting will discuss, inter alia, the National Youth Service Business
Plan. It is also expected that the Youth Sector will give an input on the
Accelerated and Shared Growth Initiative of South Africa (AsgiSA). The last
meeting of the Working Group was held on 6 December 2005.
Members of the media are invited to participate in a photo opportunity at
the beginning of the meeting, and a media briefing after the meeting.
Arrival time for the photo opportunity is 13h30 and 15h30 for the
briefing.
