The Minister of Finance Mr Trevor Manuel, Deputy Minister of Finance Mr Jabu
Moleketi and SARS Commissioner Mr Pravin Gordhan, invite you to the official
launch of the 2006 Filing Season.
The Filing Season is an annual awareness and taxpayer education campaign
undertaken by the South African Revenue Service (SARS) to encourage all
registered taxpayers to submit their tax returns before an annual deadline.
This year, Barloworld Equipment will be the host. The company is one of the
largest employers in South Africa with employees representing a wide spectrum
of income levels.
The Filing Season campaign raises billions of rands annually in revenue and
contributes to sustaining South Africaâs fiscus, which helps make South Africa
great!
