Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Adv. Michael Masutha (MP), will deliver an annual budget policy statement before the National Assembly on 19 May 2015. The aim of the budget is to outline the targets and priorities set for the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DoJ&CD) and the Office of the Chief Justice (OCJ) for the 2015/16 financial year.
Members of the media are invited to a media briefing prior to the delivery of the budget vote speech, where Minister Masutha will highlight the key areas of focus for the 2015/16 financial year. This will present an opportunity for the department and the Office of the Chief Justice to reflect on progress made in the past and to map a way forward on future commitments.
