The SAPS Women's Network will be celebrating what has now become an annual
calendar event, aptly named "Basadi Roots Day". An introspective life-changing
day meant to give women an opportunity to think beyond their natural feminine
environment.
As the day unfolds, empowering topics such as societal relationships,
suicide prevention, mental health, conflict resolution, sexual harassment and
workplace affirmation will be discussed in detail. On this special day,
interesting activities will take place, including but not limited to question
and answer session and role-playing. Delegates from diverse backgrounds, civil
society and specialists from different fields will give valuable insight on
issues tabled and discussed.
A photo opportunity will be granted upon request.
