KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sibusiso Ndebele has condemned the dastardly murders
of prominent Wartburg couple and owners of the popular Wartburger Hof Hotel,
Siggi and Ingrid Schaedle, who were shot at their hotel in Wartburg in the
KwaZulu-Natal Midlands last night, 7 November 2007.
"We strongly condemn this dastardly murder of Siggi and Ingrid Schaedle. We
further express our condolences to the Schaedle family. Our thoughts and
prayers are with you during this difficult moment. We are confident that the
South African Police Service will make arrests soon," said the Premier.
