Polokwane - The Premier of Limpopo, Sello Moloto expressed shock on the news
of the passing away of renowned journalist Mr Dirk Nel. Mr Dirk Nel died on
Thursday morning in a car crash on the Modjadji road just outside Polokwane. Mr
Moloto said that Dirk Nel was a rare breed of a journalist who always espoused
quality journalistic values and standards in his work. âHe led an unassuming,
humble life which made him an accomplished journalist and a revered pastor that
he was. He will forever be missed by the people of Limpopo and the entire
Limpopo Provincial Government which he had begun to extensively work with
during his last days,â added the Premier.
âOur prayers go out to his wife, his entire family, the media fraternity and
members of his church during this time of grief,â concluded Moloto.
