The MEC for Health, Mr Sakhiwo Belot will be officially inaugurating the
Free State School of Nursing Council.
Details are as follows:

Venue: Southern Free State Campus, National Hospital
The Nursing Council is appointed in accordance with section 9(2) of the Free
State Nursing Education Act, 1998. Nominations were invited from members of the
community to serve on the council, this council amongst others will:
* advise the MEC on nursing education policy
* promote access of students to nursing education
* ensure effective management of the school
* advise the department on any matter related to nursing education.
