Minister Nzimande right to speak on higher education issues
The Presidency has noted media reports on the comments that had been made by the Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr Blade Nzimande recently, in relation to the qualifications saga of the former SABC Board chairperson Ms Ellen Tshabalala.
Dr Nzimande is responsible for institutions of higher learning in the country and has every right to make statements on matters affecting such institutions, as the member of Cabinet entrusted with this portfolio.
