Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka will attend a breakfast meeting with
ambassadors of the Gulf States. The meeting is expected to discuss second
economy interventions, Accelerated and Shared Growth Initiative for South
Africa (AsgiSA), Joint Initiative on Priority Skills Acquisition (JIPSA) and
related trade and investment opportunities.
The Gulf States will be represented by ambassadors to South Africa,
including, HE Mr Salem Al-Zamanan of Kuwait, HE Mr Khalid Sulaiman Abdul Rahman
Ba Omar of Oman, HE Mr Abdulla Al Man Soon of Qatar and HE Mr Faisal Moalla of
Saudi Arabia.
Media are invited for a photo opportunity at 8h30 at the beginning of the
meeting.
