honour and officially launches the Jobs for Growth Co-operative Women's

Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka will this evening, 22 August 2007,
host Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, President of the India National Congress of the
Republic of India at a gala dinner in her honour.
The dinner will also see the official launch of the Jobs for Growth
Co-operative Women's Fund. The Jobs for Growth Co-operative Women's Fund is
joint initiative between government and Old Mutual South Africa as part of the
public-private partnership. The fund will be used to finance micro, small and
medium-sized women-owned businesses in South Africa's poorest regions, and to
fund financial education and skills development.
