North West Provincial Legislature holds Peopleâs Assembly on 15 September
2006.
This will be held at Olympia Park Stadium in Rustenburg. All members of the
public are invited to attend.
The thematic areas under discussion are womenâs participation in the rural
economy; impact of unlawful discrimination against people with disabilities and
rights of the child with a focus on child labour on farms.
Various members of the public all across the public have been workshopped on
these thematic areas and 30 people have been selected to represent the North
West on a national level at parliament and here in the province on 15 September
2006.
