Union (SADTU) statement

The Minister of Education, Mrs Naledi Pandor (MP) today expressed
disappointment that the South African Democratic Teachers Union, found it
necessary to use the media to request a meeting with her.
The Minister has always emphasised that she is willing to meet with SADTU on
any matter, and yet the union found it necessary to threaten mass action before
they have even had the courtesy to raising their concerns with the
Minister.
The Minister of Education will meet with SADTU to discuss all the matters
raised in the press statement.
